The National Centre for Information Systems Research

The National Centre for Information Systems Research has, as a primary aim, the conduct of research on business information systems and e-commerce relevant to industry and government. The group achieves this aim through close links with business organizations, industry associations, government bodies, consulting groups and leading researchers worldwide. Applied research projects and consultancies are undertaken.

Canberra is Australia's capital and the centre of government. Thus, the group can work closely with government organizations with an interest in e-commerce and information systems. The group can draw on staff with expertise in all areas of business from its base in the College of Business and Economics. Staff are active in research collaboration with other academic institutions, industry and government.
